Yesss!!! finally finished 'FREE NOW', the last song of my new album 'THERAPY', hereby symbolically closing what was an (although I didn't choose for it) significant part of my life. It feels good to close it with music; many, many years ago it was (writing) music that in more ways than one helped me to change the course of my life, and maybe even saved it.

Anyway... 'THERAPY''s concluded & off my chest, and now I can happily start bugging my music-friends about a new project that I've been planning for 6 months or so...

'Free Now' (Residue) by M.Akamawa

My home is warm and kind a cozy,
Flat out open never really worked for me
Without my shell I'll never travel,
There is no place I'd rather be

Most of my life I been livin'
In the nutshell of my mind
Outside the rain 'd be pourin crocotears
Or the sun would be way too kind

When the wind be blowin' sharply
A safe shelter I would build
But still I'd feel it stingin'
Through those gaps of my own guilt

Way down under nature's rooftop
I floated from east to west
Took north and south both with me too,
Could never choose what I liked best

And now I'm residue
Ain't got much left
Done my time
I'm free now

Oh I'm residue
Not much left
Seen it all
Made up my mind
Left my bottle n chain behind
I'm free now...

Always tried to be a master-builder
Of everyone else's home sweet home
All the while that my own shelter
Became some kind of
Crazy pressure dome

Been runnin' high
Been crawlin' low
Been movin' fast
Been way too slow
Any direction always good enough for me
Never had a clue where I wanted to be

And now I'm residue
Ain't got much left
Seen it all
Done my time
I am free now

Oh I'm residue
Not much left
Made up my mind
Left my bottle n chain behind
And I'm free now...

Oh yeah
I'm free now

I'm free now

I'm free now

I'm free now

I'm free now

I'm free now

I'm free now

I'm free now

I'm free...
